Federal Board FBISE HSSC Total Passing Marks 2024

The Federal Board (FBISE) announced the total passing marks for the HSSC exams on 23 August 2024. New rules require students to score at least 34 out of 85 marks or 68 out of 170 marks to pass any subject. These changes aim to improve academic standards and match international education benchmarks. Next year, other boards in Punjab will follow similar rules, encouraging students to study harder. This change is expected to boost the quality of education in Pakistan.

For the 2024 exams, the total passing marks set by FBISE is 34 out of 85. In the coming year, all Punjab boards will also adopt this standard, raising the passing percentage from 33% to 40%. Students need to work harder to pass their exams, as this increase in passing marks is intended to help improve education standards in Pakistan. Last year, many students struggled to meet university admission criteria due to scores below 45%. With higher passing marks, students are encouraged to aim for better scores, enhancing their chances of getting into university.
