It is empowered with administrative and financial authority to organize, regulate, develop and control Intermediate and Secondary Education in general and conduct examinations in the institutions affiliated with it.

- Students of Class 11th and 12th can see their respective result by following this procedure:
- Visit the https://portal.fbise.edu.pk/fbise-conduct/result/
- Choose your respective class, HSSC-I (Class 11th) or HSSC-II (Class 12th).
- Enter your Roll Number assigned by FBISE.
- Enter your Name and click on “Search Result” and your result will be shown.

Compulsory Subjects for Class 11th & 12th
- 2 papers of English are compulsory.
- Urdu/Pakistan Culture for foreign students is compulsory subject.
- 1 paper of Islamic Education/Civics for Non-Muslims is also compulsory.
- 1 paper of Pakistan Studies is compulsory.
Subject Groups for HSSC-I & HSSC-II
There are few groups related to subject combination for HSSC-I & HSSC-II such as Science Group comprises of Pre-Medical group, Pre-Engineering group, and General Science group. Other groups include Humanities Group, Commerce Group, Medical Technology group, and Pre-Home economics group. All these groups have separate subjects’ combination.
