Pakistan Navy Jobs For Sub Inspector Application Process
To apply, you can get the application forms from the PMA admission office or download them from the Marine Academy’s website. There is an application processing fee of PKR 3500, which should be paid through a bank draft or pay order. For those applying under the self-finance scheme, an additional fee of PKR 300,000 must be submitted through bank draft or pay order.
Eligibility Criteria for Pakistan Marine Academy
- Only unmarried male Pakistani citizens can apply.
- The maximum age limit is 20 years as of December 31, 2024.
- For candidates from FATA, GB, AJK, and Balochistan, the age limit is extended to 21 years.
- Applicants must have completed FSc Pre-engineering or an equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks.
- Candidates who are awaiting their results can also apply if they provide a Hope certificate.
Training and Degree Details
The selected candidates will undergo two years of training at the academy. Upon successful completion, they will be awarded an associate degree in Ship Management and Marine Engineering by NED UET Karachi. Additionally, candidates will receive Pre-SEA courses certified by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

How to Apply for the Marine Academy Nautical and Engineering Cadet Course
You can register online by visiting the Pakistan Marine Academy website at www.marineacademy.edu.pk. The prospectus and application forms are available at the PMA Admission Office and on the PMA website. Submit your application form along with a pay order or bank draft of Rs. 2500 in favor of Pakistan Marine Academy, Karachi, National Bank of Pakistan, PMA Branch Code-0239. If you are applying under the Self-Finance Scheme (SFS), you must also submit an additional pay order or bank draft for Rs. 300,000. If you are selected on open merit, the SFS fee will be refunded.
Pakistan Navy Marine Academy Selection Procedure
The entrance tests will be conducted in various cities, including Abbottabad, Gwadar, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Muzaffarabad (AJK), Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, and Sukkur. These tests will be carried out by hired Testing Services. To qualify for the entrance test, you must score at least 45%.
Medical Examination and Final Selection
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a medical examination at designated Army, Navy, or PAF hospitals. The final selection will be based on merit, including a final interview and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which will be conducted at PMA.

- Running: 1.6 Km in 08:30 minutes
- Push-ups: 10 repetitions in 2 minutes
- Sit-ups: 10 repetitions in 2 minutes
- Chin-ups: 2 repetitions in 2 minutes
